My Tiramisu Soap - Spring 2012

Dear bloggers,

I found a great supplier here in Israel that provides everything I need for my products; from oils to fragrance and such.

This soap, is my first soap using their fragrance, which smells like a soft caramelized milk.
For this soap I used coconut oil, palm oil, olive oil, castor oil, cacao and a nice finishing touch of coffee beans.

 

 

 What I also would like to share, are some beautiful pictures I took during my scrub making...

filled with goodness such as olive oil, shea butter, vitamine e, jojoba, sweet almond oil and rose buds.

Can you see the little roses? Apple fragrance added.

Soaps n Bubbles Event March 2012

Cutting and perfecting

Dear readers,

as promised I took pictures after cutting the lime twist; the swirls didn't go as planned but the soap still looks and smells divine.

Olive oil, coconut oil, palm oil and castor oil

I also want to share pictures of my new pots and my scrub; I tested it after making and I my skin was so soft and hydrated.
It really wasn't easy to find the perfect pots that are just as practical for scrubs as for body lotions; but I found this really sweet and nice seller at Ebay that had just what I wanted.

What is really good with home made scrub, is that we don't cut back on the quantity and the quality of the oils and products; it is rich and moisturizing.

Rich in Shea butter, Vitamine E and many more hydrating oils

Lime Twist soap in production

To my dear bloggers and to my dear readers,

today I decided I don't have enough soaps yet for the big event (in stock Strawberry Milkshake, Mango Sorbet in Jasmine garden, Brown Sugar and Anise Anise), so I made a batch of my Lime Twist soap and asked my husband to take pictures during production.

I must say, I am a bit disappointed with how it turned out, because I wanted to make pretty swirls; I always try endlessly to make my soaps have swirls, and at the end they never go out as wished. The soap smells without a doubt devine, but...I am not sure if it will look as good as it smells...

The oils I used, are the basic and my favorite ones: olive oil, coconut oil, palm oil and castor oil.

Once I cut the soap, I will make sure to take pictures and show you guys the result. I am stressing just thinking about it.

Winter Sparkles

Dear friends,

Here is my batch of Brown Sugar to warm me well during these cold cold days...

The soap is made from Coconut Oil, Palm Oil and Castor oil.

There are some little small pieces of sugar in the soap for a nice peeling effect.
The soap smells terrific and looks beautiful.

Rosh Hashana and the sweets that come with it

Strawberry with moon seeds; Musk soap with Anise and sprakles, Mango soap with Jasmine.

To all my sweet sweet bloggers,

since I am not that often sharing posts with you all, here are some delicious  pictures of soaps I made so far.

Rosh Hashana is just around the corner; people are happy and preparing special stuff to make their beloved ones happy.

Israel is slowly getting ready for the fall, as we just had the first rain of the year. It was beautiful, moving and exiting.

The flowers have almost given up, and the first brown of leaves are showing. So as we are thinking of the change of the season, enjoy the soaps...

The Mango and Jasmine soap; contains mango butter and Jasmine. It smells amazing!
